Detailed Tour Itinerary

Day 01:DELHI (Arrival)

Arrive DELHI - The Political and Cultural Capital of Incredible India to be greeted at the airport by our representative arrival team, who will be waiting with pre-printed signboard of your name at the arrival hall immediately after crossing customs area and currency exchange counters. You will be escorted to the car which will take you to the hotel for check inn. Drive to the hotel is approx 35 minutes form airport. Although most of the international flights arrive late in the evening or at night; your activities for the day will depend upon your arrival flight timing. Spend the night at the hotel for sleep and to get over with the Jet Lag. Overnight stay is at the hotel in Delhi.

Day 02: OLD & NEW DELHI

Jama Masjid Delhi tourAfter breakfast in the morning at the hotel our guide will greet you at the hotel to take you for a full day Guided Sightseeing of Old and New Delhi in Private Dlx Car.
Start off by the visit to The Qutab Minar Complex, followed by The Lotus Temple. Drive through Sfadarjung Tomb or Humanyu Tomb, India Gate, Parliament House, President House and Raj Ghat before entering the Old Delhi to visit the Jamia Mazjid, the famous Red Fort and Chandini Chowk, Walk through the narrow alleys of the oldest and busiest bazaars of India or take a Rickshaw Ride. Visit Shish Ganj Gurudwara. In between if time permits you will also be taken to visit the famous Akshardham Temple or Lakshmi Narayan Temple. To wind up the day tour visit some of the beautiful souvenir shops to buy some of the most exquisite memories from India for your loved ones. Finish the tour with the spectacular Sound and Light Show (1 Hr) at Purana Quila delving into Delhi's glorious and tumultuous past, which makes the 5,000 years old history of the city come alive. Drive through the famous Victorian Cannaught Place - One of the most prominent architectural remnants of British Rule.
Return back to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure activities. You may go for dinner at an excellent Mughal/ Indian/ Continental Restaurant. Overnight stay is at the hotel in Delhi.

Day 03: DELHI - SHEKHAWATI / Mandawa (250 Kms – 05 Hrs)

After breakfast in the morning at the hotel check out and drive to SHEKHAWATI Region (Mandawa) through the colorful villages of Rajasthan. Majestic Shekhawati region or the semi-desert region of Shekhawati, lying in the triangular region between Delhi, Jaipur and Bikaner, is famous for its plethora of painted havelis (mansions), all commendable pieces of the rich artistic traditions of this region. The 'Open Air Gallery of Rajasthan', as it is popularly called 'Shekhawati', the Land of Shekhs, derives its name from Rao Shekha (1433-88). The major towns of interest in the region are Mandawa, Dundlod, Fatehpur, Ramgarh, Nawalgarh and Jhunjhunu, although virtually every town has at least a few surviving havelis

Arrive & check in at the Heritage Haveli called the Castle Mandawa reminding you of the rich cultural heritage of the Shekhawati region. Later in the day visit the 150 to 200 year old painted havelies (big houses) by the natural colors in the streets of the village. Medieval turreted towers, palanquin-roofed balconies, blend with modern comforts in old-world rooms. You can also watch the daily village life while watching the havelies. Enjoy the evening at the heritage hotel watching the traditional colorful cultural dance and music show. You can have dinner over bonfire. Overnight stay is at the Hotel.

Day 04: SHEKHAWATI (Nawalgarh & Dundlod)

After breakfast in the morning at the hotel check out and travel to nearby Nawalgarh & Dundlod. Enroute visit Dunload Fort a two centuries old fort owned by the thakur of Dundload, now converted in to the a heritage hotel, the Diwan khana is worth to see, it houses the old ornaments, books, & other several other things that are a real treat to visit. Arrive and check into one of the most beautiful havelies of Shekhawati region now converted into heritage hotel. Later in the day after change, wash and some rest go for Jeep safari through the Shekhawati region. You will be amazed as you visit the mansions covered with frescoes depicting the whole gamut on social and religious life, where history is painted with humor. Major attractions of the place include Aath (eight) Haveli complex, Anandilal Poddar haveli, Jodhraj Patodia haveli, Chokhani haveli and hotel Roop Niwas Palace. Return back to the hotel and your rooms to enjoy evening. Cultural dance and music are a must part of your stay at these havelies. Overnight stay is at the Heritage Haveli.

Day 05: SHEKHAWATI - BIKANER (190 Kms - 04 hrs)

After breakfast in the morning at the resort check out and drive to Bikaner. This desert city has a stark beauty which is totally unique. The wide-spread sand dunes, the moonlit glittering beauty and desert agility, the worth-seeing natural sites, the marvelous palaces and temples, wild life sanctuaries and archeological treasures all combine to make this city a place of lasting charm and permanent attraction. The city founded by Rao Biked Ji in 1488 A.D. stands on a slightly raised ground and is circumscribed by a seven km long embattled wall with five gates. The magnificent forts and palaces, created with delicacy in reddish-pink sandstone, bear testimony to its rich historical and architectural legacy. If dreams are cast in stones or if stones can sing they would be like the exteriors and interiors of Bikaner havelies – This is Bikaner for you.

Arrive & check in at the Hotel.

After a change and wash go for half day sightseeing of Bikaner visiting some of the best havelies and forts. Carvings find best expression in Bikaneri havelies. Havelies are marvels in home architecture. Such havelies or residential houses do not exist anywhere in the world. Visit the Junagarh Fort founded in year 1593 by Raja Rai Singh who was general in the army of mighty Mughal emperor Akbar and rest of the Fort was improved by the successors. Afterwards visit some of the Golden Era Palaces which have been now converted into Heritage Hotels - the Lalgarh Palace, Gajner Palace and some of the beautiful Havelies like Rampuria Group of Havelies, Rikhji bagri ki Haveli and Haveli of Bhairondan Kothari. Later go on to visit the Asia’s largest Camel Breeding Research Farm and local busy markets. Return back to the hotel or you may go for shopping activities on the colorful street markets of Bikaner. Overnight stay is at Hotel.

Day 06: BIKANER - Deshnok – JAISALMER (300 Kms – 6.5 Hrs)

Lalgargh Palace in Bikaner After breakfast in the morning at the hotel drive to Jaisalmer. Jaisalmer often referred as the Golden City of India was founded by Rawal Jaisal in 1156 A.D. after shifting his capital from Ladurva. Jaisalmer was the main caravan route from Far East to the Middle East. Jaisalmer stands on a ridge of yellowish sandstone, in the heart of the Thar Desert. Crowned by a fort containing the palace and several ornate Jain temples, Jaisalmer was positioned strategically and was a halting point along a traditional trade route traversed by the camel caravans of Indian and Asian merchants. The route linked India to Central Asia, Egypt, Arabia, Persia, Africa and the West. The havelis, built by merchants of the 19th century, are exquisitely carved from golden-yellow sandstone and are still in a beautiful condition. The fort built by Rawal Jaisal in the 12th century, stands on the 80 meter high Trikuta hill, with beautifully carved Jain temples.
Arrive & check in at Hotel. Later in the day after change, wash and some rest go for guided sightseeing of Jaisalmer visiting the famous Jaisalmer Fort ( 80 meters above plains ) known as Sonar Quila & Jain Temples within the Fort built in 12th to 15th century which are very worth watching. The specialty of the Fort is that still approximately 5000 people are living inside. Visit Fort Palace & atop from Palace you can have the golden view of whole Jaisalmer city as whole city is built in yellow sand stones, when sun rays fall on the city, it give impression as golden city of India.
Evening is for leisure activities in and around the Heritage hotel / Haveli to get a feeling of the Golden Rajasthan Era. City Overnight stay is at the heritage Hotel / Haveli.

Day 07: JAISALMER (Desert Safari by Camel)

The Camel Safari begins early in the morning at 6:00 AM. Drive by Jeep for 60 Kms into the desert campsite. Breakfast is served with the stunning sunrise at the camp.
8:00 am - 12:00 noon - The exciting camel safari ride starts visiting village UNDA (Traditional Rajput Village) and after that visiting Bheelo Ki Dhani (Village of Tribal people).
12:00 noon - 3:00 pm – Lunch will be served followed by rest under the tree shaded camp base near the oasis (because sun is firing).
3:00 pm - 5:00 pm - Camel trek again starts from village KODA (Mix Caste Village). View native wildlife and villages through ride to isolated sand dunes (Khayala).
The drive continues across the desert. We stop to watch the beautiful sunset before reaching our campsite. After experiencing the glimpses of desert enjoy a delicious camp fire and dinner. Slipping beneath the stars- studded sky on clean bed rolls and have the dreams of the desert.

Day 08: JAISALMER (Desert Safari by Camel)

Breakfast is served at the campsite in the morning, the tour continues to the adventurous visits to villages and sand dunes.
8:00 am - 12:00 noon - Experience the desert adventure; you get a glimpse of the desert vegetation and the strange insects on the sands (along with two villages on the way).
12:00 noon - 3:00 pm - Lunch will be served followed by rest under the tree shaded camp base near the oasis (because sun is firing).
3:00 pm - 5:00 pm - Enjoy Camel ridding and galloping along the way while reaching to our campsite.
Drive back to Jaisalmer by Jeep in one hour. Arrive at the hotel in the evening to spend rest of the day for leisure. Overnights stay is at the hotel in Jaisalmer.

Day 09: JAISALMER – Oscian – JODHPUR (290 Kms – 06 hrs)

After breakfast in the morning at the hotel check out and drive to JODHPUR. Enroute visit the Oscian Village - An oasis in the desert. Osian has 15 beautifully sculpted Jain and Brahmanical temples which are renowned for their sculptural beauty. Continue your drive to JODHPUR often called as the Sun City of India for its consistently bright, sunny climate is famous for its magnificent forts and palaces, Jodhpur is the second largest city of Rajasthan, founded by Rao Jodha in 1459 AD after shifting his capital from Mandore to Jodhpur by the advice of a holy man. The city dominated by the massive Mehrangarh fort on a rocky hill. There are about 100 towers in the city, most of which are surrounded by defensive battlements. Set at the edge of the Thar Desert, the imperial city of Jodhpur echoes with tales of antiquity in the emptiness of the stark desert landscapes meet a riot of palaces, forts and temples, all enclosed within imposing city walls. Six enormous gates provide entry to the city centre: Nagauri, Merati, Sojati, Jalori and Siwanchi gates, plus Chand Pole. The city is encompassed by a high wall -10 km long with 8 gates and innumerable bastions.
Arrive and check into the hotel. Later in the day go for guided sightseeing of Jodhpur. Visit the Mehrangarh Fort 125 meters above plains - The walls of the fort are enormous—up to 36m high and 21m wide. Admire the breathtaking view of the city from the ramparts, saving some time to check out the fort museum, which houses an exquisite collection of palanquins, howdahs, royal cradles, miniatures, musical instruments, costumes and furniture. Some of the spectacular palaces of Mehrangarh to be seen are Moti Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Janaki Mahal, Phool Mahal, Rang Mahal, Darbar takhat. Jaswant -Thada – the traditional cremation ground for the royalties of Jodhpur. This is a royal cenotaph made up of white marble. It was built to commemorate Maharaja Jaswant Singh. Some rare portraits of the former rulers of Jodhpur are also displayed here. Umaid Bhawan palace – now one of the most luxurious heritage hotels in India and Sardar Market Clock Tower - Tiny shops line both sides of the narrow lanes in these markets. One can find textiles, silver, handicrafts, aromatic spices, vegetables and colorful Indian sweets in these shops. Evening is for shopping and leisure activities. Later in the day return back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 10: JODHPUR (Bishnoi Village Safari – Jeep)

Meherangarh cannon, Jodhpur tourAfter breakfast early in the morning you will be picked up from the hotel for an exclusive Jeep Safari through the Bishnoi Villages. Start off with a visit to the site of Kahejarli Massacre, this place itself describe the Bishnois. This place is famous for its great history where thousands of Bishnois have given there life to protect tree. Continue your Safari to visit the Singhasani Village famous for its unique pottery and style of pottery making, you can experience and enjoy the art yourself. Carry on to visit Kankani Village famous for the art of Block Printings

Lunch will be served with a local Bishnoi Village Family. Your village safari includes visit to the Chota Guda or the Shepherd’s Village where in you can experience the real village life and take some of the memorable photographs with villagers. Visit h Lake Guda - Here you can watch wild animals in there natural habitats, many species of desert animals are found there some of them our Antelopes, Gazelle, Dumessille Crane, Rabbits, Blue Bulls, Migrated Birds, Peacocks etc. Enjoy one of the most spectacular sunset over the Lake.

To complete the village safari visit the Salawas –Dari Udyog. Salawas is a land of magic carpets; a land where fantasy and reality joins forces to keep alive one of its most famous traditions: the durry (Rugs). The durry (Rugs), weather weaved out of cotton or wool, spreads colorful tradition and heritage from its primitive form of weaving in the villages of Rajasthan.

Drive back to the hotel in Jodhpur to end the Jeep Safari. Overnight stay is at the hotel in Jodhpur.

Day 11: JODHPUR – PUSHKAR (200 Kms – 04 hrs)

After breakfast in the morning at the hotel check out and drive to AJMER (PUSKAR). From Ajmer the 14 kms onward drive through the Snake Mountains will reach you to Pushkar. Pushkar is one of the places with highly prestigious sites for both Hindu and Muslim Religions in the world. While Pushkar is known for the only temple in the world of Lord Brahma- the god of creation, Ajmer is globally known for the Mazaar of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishty. People come to pray to the lords for the fulfillment of their desires, it is said whoever visit these places in their lifetimes their desires gets fulfilled soon. It is also known as Tirth Raj- the Raj (king) of pilgrim center. No pilgrimages of Hindu or Muslims are considered to be complete until the pilgrim bathes in the sacred waters of Pushkar Lake or he presents a holy sheet at the Dargaah (Muslim shrine). Indeed Pushkar is so sacred that no eggs, meat or alcohols are allowed within the city.

Arrive and check into the hotel / dessert resort. Enjoy the festivity of Pushkar, cattle exchange bazaar ground; enjoy the traditional Rajasthani Folk Music, Dance, Puppet shows. Later take CAMEL RIDE on the nearby sand dunes Pushkar also hold biggest annual Camel & Craft Fair, which is known all over the world. In the evening visit the Brahma Lake, Temple or the Mazaar or carry on with the leisure activities. Pushkar houses the only Lord Brahma (Creator of the Universe) Temple in the world. Overnight stay is at the Hotel / Desert resort.

Day 12: PUSHKAR - JAIPUR (130 Kms – 2.5 Hrs)

Pushker TourAfter breakfast in the morning at the hotel you have time for leisure activities. Later in the day check out and drive to JAIPUR. This historic and first planned city of India was founded by Maharaja Swai Jai Singh in 1727 AD. The king had consulted a number of maps of the world before finally organizing own religious map Shilpa Shastra with the help of a young architect. Maharaja Swai Jai Singh was a builder, astronomer, astrologer, soldier, & philosopher. Presently Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan & is world famous as the Pink City. Wide-avenued Jaipur is the reservoir of Indian customs, traditions, civilization and royal legacy and is one of the most important heritage cities in India. Jaipur is also the home to India’s second most visited site.

Arrive and check into the hotel. Later in the day go for half day guided sightseeing of Jaipur. Visit the marvelous City Palace - the current generation of the Maharajas (King) still live here. The spectacular Palace is a lively example of the royal Past. Go on to visit the Hawa Mahal (wind palace) where from royal ladies were watching daily processions and daily life. Constructed of red and pink sandstone highlighted with white lime, the five-storied facade is peppered with 953 small windows. The breeze (hawa) that comes through the windows keeps it cool even in hot months, and gives the palace its name.

Also visit the Historic Museum to be followed by ancient astrological observatory – The Jantar Mantar.
Rest of the evening is free for leisure activities in and around the hotel. With Car and Driver at your disposal you may visit some of the world famous colorfully painted in Pink Bazaars of Jaipur. Shopping is an electrifying activity in Jaipur. It is difficult to define in words, the assortment of products, which these markets offer. Without a shopping spree in markets, no trip to Jaipur is complete. It is the perfect place to shop for Handicrafts, antiques, jewelry, gems, pottery, carpets, textiles, metalwork and leather-ware. In the late evening hours you may go to the Chokhi Daani – A Rajasthani Traditional Village Resort to enjoy the folk dance, music and rich hospitality and for leisure activities. You may also enjoy a traditional Rajasthani Food before returning back to the hotel to stay Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 13: JAIPUR – RANTHAMBORE (160 Kms – 03 Hrs)

After breakfast in the morning at the hotel our guide will greet you at the hotel lobby to take you for half day sightseeing of Jaipur. Fist visit the most famous Amber Fort. Enjoy the Elephant Ride from the foothills of the Fort to the Amber Fort top, the elephant ride will give you the experience and take you into the royal past where Maharajas & royal family members were using the services of elephants as royal transport. Visit the Amber Fort. While returning form the Amber Fort stop for the photo shots at the Jal Mahal - The Floating Palace.

Return back to the hotel to check out and drive to Ranthambore Tiger Sanctuary -the tiger sanctuary is known for the place where you can catch the tiger by its tail. One of the most exciting tourism opportunities in India is to see the Royal Bengal Tiger in the wild. Ranthambore National Park is among the most promising jungles to see just that. The tiger is not the only attraction at Ranthambore; although it is the one park resident people come to see. Enjoy great wildlife and see several varieties of birds including these owlets peering through their burrow pictured here on the right and of course the ubiquitous langur monkey. Other animals in the reserve include leopard, caracal, hyena, jackal, jungle cat, marsh crocodiles, wild boar, bears and various species of deer. The main food source for the tiger is the swamp deer like Barasinsga and on occasion the wild buffalo and also wild bear etc.

Afternoon: Upon arrival at the wildlife resort you will be greeted in a traditional manner. Check into the Dlx Cottages of the Jungle Resort. Lunch will be served at the resort. Later in the day after change, wash and some rest go for Tiger Tracking by Canter Safari Ride escorted by local naturalist and English Speaking Guide into the jungles.

Evening: is free for leisure activities in and around the jungle resort. You can visit the wildlife museum, or have an interactive session with the expert jungle guide and naturalist. Enjoy the dinner over bonfire and traditional folk dance, musical show, Rajasthani puppet show etc in the deep forests. Overnight stay is at the jungle resort.

Day 14: RANTHAMBORE (Tiger Safari)

Early Morning: Tea / Coffee with cookies will be served at the wake-up call. Go for morning Jungle Safari ride by exclusive OPEN JEEP (gypsy) escorted with English Speaking Guide & Local naturalist – the inhabitants of the Jungle. Drive into deep forests for an exclusive Jungle Jeep Safari by Open 4WD Jeep in Ranthambore Tiger Reserve to watch different varieties of animals especially The Tiger. You can also watch here leopard, panther, spotted deer, antelopes & many varieties of birds. Return to Hotel for breakfast and some rest.
Noon: After some rest at the resort go for another Jungle Safari by Canter Safari on joint basis escorted with English Speaking Guide and Local naturalist. Watch out for The King of Jungles – The Royal Indian Tiger. The Game viewing drive last for 3 hours.
Evening: After the Canter Safari return back to the resort to be served with a refreshing Tea / Coffee amidst the jungles. Let in the evening enjoy the Dinner over bonfire along with light music and Rajasthani Puppet and Magic Show. Overnight stay is at the resort in Ranthambore.

Day 15: RANTHAMBORE – Fatehpur Sikri – AGRA (250 Kms – 05 Hrs)

Ranthambore TourEarly in the morning you have OPTION for yet another Tiger Safari ride into the Tiger Sanctuary OR stay put at the resort. After breakfast in the morning check out and drive to AGRA. Enroute visit one of the most important places of Mughal Era - The Fatehpur Sikri - the abandoned Mughal Kingdom, founded by Akbar in 1569 AD as a ceremonial capital. But unfortunately this magnificent city was abandoned due to scarcity of drinking water and Akbar went back to Agra. Walk the aisles of the Jamia Mazjid mosque, entered by way of the impressive Victory Gate, and lose yourself in the throngs of pilgrims at the tomb of the Sufi saint Salim Chisti, his white marble-encased tomb enclosed within the Jamia mosque's central courtyard. Considered the crowning architectural legacy of Akbar (who also built the Red Fort) and still almost perfectly preserved, today the site is protected as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Continue your drive to Agra so as to arrive later in the day and Check Into the hotel. AGRA is home to one of the 7 Wonders of the World-the Taj Mahal. The architectural splendor of the mausoleums, the fort and the palaces are vivid remainders of the ancient Mughal Empire and Capital City of 16th and early 17th centuries. Later in the day after change, wash and some rest visit the Itmad-ud-Daulah - the Baby Taj. The tomb may not be as mammoth as the Taj but the inlay designs and carvings are no less than Taj if not more. The delicate marble latticework in the passages allows the light to enter the interiors. This tomb was the first complete marble Mughal structure. Evening is for shopping and leisure activities with driver and car at your disposal. Day 16: AGRA (Taj Mahal) – DELHI (230 Kms – 04 Hrs) – Onwards Travel / FLY BACK

After breakfast in the morning our guide will greet you at the hotel to take you for sightseeing of AGRA. First visit one of the wonders of the world, The TAJ MAHAL (monument of love), built by 5th great Mughal Emperor Shahi Jahan in the memory as mausoleum of his beloved queen Anjuman Bano Begum-Mumtaz. After her death in 1627 AD, in her memory emperor started to built Taj Mahal (Taj means Crown & Mahal means Palace). It took 22 years for 22000 labors working day and night to build this archeological wonder. It is the romantic origin of Taj as much as its architectural splendor that has led to its fame worldwide. Actually an integrated complex of many structures The Taj Mahal is considered the finest example of Mughal architecture, itself a combination of Islamic, Hindu, Persian and Turkish elements. Built in pure white marble which was transported from Makrana in Rajasthan by the help of animals Taj Mahal is one of the man made wonder’s of the world. The Taj Mahal built on the banks of River Yamuna is a masterpiece of symmetry, seeming to be floating in the air from a distance, and each revealed as an illusion experienced as one enters through the main gate. The verses of Holy Koran as inscribed on it and at the top of gate 22 small domes, signifying the number of years the monument took to built. The Taj Mahal has been built on a Marble Platform that stands one above sandstone. The most elegant dome of the Taj, with diameter of 60 feet’s, rises 80 feet’s, over the building and directly under the dome is the tomb of Mumtaz Mahal. Shah Jahan's tomb has been erected next to her's by his son Aurangzeb. Fantastic Inlay works using semi-precious stones decorate and interiors.
Later visit AGRA FORT on the banks of Yamuna River built by 3 emperors, Akbar & Jahangir in red sand stone & Shahi Jahan in white marble. The Crescent shaped Fort is 2.5 Km long and during Mughal rule 1/3rd of the Fort was occupied by the army. When British ruled India, they repeated same tradition and now traditionally Indian army has occupied the same. Visit some of the beautiful monuments housed in the complex - The Diwan-i-Am (public audience hall), the beautiful Diwan-i-Khas (private audience hall) and the magnificent Moti Mazjid (Pearl Mosque) were built by Shah Jahan.

Return back to the hotel to check out and drive back to DELHI. Soon after you leave the city of Taj stop at the Sikandra- The site of Akbar's mausoleum and glorious reminder of the historic Mughal Empire. Sikandra was begun by Akbar and completed by his son Jahangir in 1613 AD. It reflects the fusion of Hindu and Muslim art and architecture which characterized the era. The tomb is situated in the centre of a large garden and four identical red sandstone gates lead to the tomb complex. The building, with three-storey minarets at each corner, is built of red sandstone with white marble polygonal patterns inlaid. Sikandra is named after Sikandra Lodi, the Delhi ruler who was in power from 1488 to 1517.

Continue your drive to Delhi so as to arrive later in the day.
